Gary Roffe has been involved in commercial real estate for 18 years in the areas of hospitality ground up development, hotel asset management, office development and office value-add investments. With regard to hospitality, he has worked with Marriott, Hilton, and IHG/Kimpton having direct responsibilities in the development and asset management of the JW Marriott 1001-room hotel in San Antonio, Texas, three Residence Inns by Marriott, one Embassy Suites by Hilton and two Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants. Since joining a private equity firm in 2007 and serving as Chief Operating Officer, he has focused on raising more than $600 million of equity and securing $1.2 billion of debt for commercial real estate investments across the country. Most recently, he was a founding member of a boutique hospitality development company and investment committee member and serves on the investment committee of MCI Hospitality, where he also heads hospitality development.
Gary practiced law as a partner in the corporate finance department at Kutak Rock, a national law firm, and is a graduate of the University of Colorado and University of Colorado School of Law.
